This is a simple and versatile layer suitable for text, embed codes, videos etc. It has a 900px internal width.

Light card
Cards use a background image on an inner section column. Use this style for light background images, or add a white background overlay in the style settings for this column.
Duplicate the whole card by selecting the inner column (the one containing this text widget).

Note these cards use borders to provide the visible column gap, because elementor does its real column gaps with padding, which doesn’t affect the backgrounds.
Adjust spacing under Style > Border.
